Diamond League Final: Sha'Carri Richardson, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone Each Enter 2 Races

Richardson to run 100m and 200m

After missing the Olympics for a positive marijuana test, Sha'Carri Richardson is set to return to competition at the Diamond League Final in Zurich.

A controversial figure who has been outspoken about the use of marijuana in track and field, Richardson was suspended for one month after testing positive at the US Olympic Trials in June.

She will race in both the 100m and 200m in Zurich.

In the 100m, Richardson will face a field that includes Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah of Jamaica and silver medalist Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce of Jamaica.

McLaughlin-Levrone in 400m hurdles and 400m

McLaughlin-Levrone is coming off a dominant performance at the Olympics, where she won the gold medal in the 400m hurdles and set a new world record.

In Zurich, she will race in both the 400m hurdles and the 400m.

In the 400m hurdles, McLaughlin-Levrone will face a field that includes Olympic silver medalist Dalilah Muhammad of the United States and bronze medalist Femke Bol of the Netherlands.

In the 400m, McLaughlin-Levrone will face a field that includes Olympic champion Steven Gardiner of the Bahamas and silver medalist Kirani James of Grenada.

The Diamond League Final is the final meeting of the Diamond League season. The top eight athletes in each event will compete for a share of the $320,000 prize pool.
